All Purpose Seasoning Salt Ingredients: 2 Tbsp Fine Ground Salt (I used Himalayan) 2 Tsp White Sugar 1 Tsp Paprika 1/4 Tsp Turmeric 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder Instructions: Mix all of the ingredients in a small spice jar and give it a good shake. I didn’t have a problem with it sticking or clumping but if you are finding it is, you can add 1/2 tsp cornstarch and it should help.  This seasoning salt is amazing on just about anything but some uses I have found for it are: On eggs to add some flavour! Sprinkled lightly on raw (or cooked) vegetables to bring out the sweet and savoury flavours. On potatoes of every variety (I’m talking mashed, baked, fries or tots.) You name it, it will probably be good. Any type of meat. I know this is broad, but this is a delicious, all purpose seasoning mix.  {Related Post: Easy Rice Mixes From Scratch} 2. Basil Salt Ingredients: 1/8 Cup Packed Fresh Basil 1/8 cup Coarse Salt 1/3 Cup Fine Ground Salt (I used Himalayan) Instructions: Combine the coarse salt and the fresh basil in a mini food processor. Blend until it is fully combined and resembles a wet sand.  When it is a wet sand texture, add the fine salt and blitz to combine.  Spread it out on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and let it air dry for a couple hours until it is completely dry.  When it is dry, add it to a small spice jar. It should be good for up to a year if sealed airtight!   How can you use basil salt? To top fish or chicken. Once again, to add a delightful touch to eggs. As a topping to spaghetti or any other Italian inspired dish.  5. Sriracha Salt Ingredients: 1/3 Cup Fine Ground Salt (I used Himalayan) 1 Tbsp Sriracha Sauce Instructions: Combine the salt and sriracha in a bowl until it resembled wet sand. Spread it out on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven at 350 for 5-7 minutes, stirring every 1-2 minutes and monitoring closely. It is very easy to burn.  Let it cool completely and then store it in an airtight container, such as these mason jars. If there are any large clumps, you can toss it into a food processor to make it fine again.   Different ways to use sriracha salt As a topping for a sushi bowl I am a broken record but it tastes so good on eggs! As a topping for popcorn. As a finish on ramen noodles. Other Post You May Like: 5 Super Easy Baking Mixes From Scratch 5 More Baking Mixes From Scratch Cream of anything soup mix Prefer to watch?
